Mike Cobb

Mike Cobb, a visionary educational leader with over 34 years of experience, has excelled in various roles, including classroom teacher, division head, admissions/enrollment leader, and Head of School. An international speaker, he has played a key role in the NEOM project in Saudi Arabia, where as the Interim Head of NEOM Community Schools and Senior Manager of NEOM Baccalaureate, he led the sector through strategic vision work, creating plans for the Baccalaureate program, Centers for Excellence, and future campuses. Mike implemented a successful professional development program and launched programs for AI & Robotics, Sustainability, NEOM X, Entrepreneurship & Leadership, Oceanographic Studies, and Teaching & Learning.

Previously, as the Head of School at All Saints Episcopal School in Texas, Mike initiated strategic vision work, resulting in new Mission and Core Values documents. His leadership saw unprecedented growth through a successful Enrollment Management program, a completed capital campaign, and over 30 construction projects, including nationally recognized learning spaces like the Center For Innovation, The Collaboratory, Outdoor Learning Center, and Lower School Learning Villages.

A co-founder of the Sandbox, an Innovative Think Tank, Mike fosters unstructured dialogue among thought leaders in a grown-up sandbox setting. This platform provides a space for nationwide leaders to engage in spontaneous, fruitful conversations, emphasizing the value of unscripted dialogue in education and leadership.

During his 20-year tenure at The Oakridge School, Mike held various leadership roles, including Director of Admissions and Enrollment, Head of Middle School, and Director of Summer Programs. Noteworthy achievements include strategic initiatives in admissions, the successful launch of a 1:1 laptop initiative (Learn 21), and emphasis on character education and wellness.

Mike's commitment to transformative education, organizational excellence, and continuous learning is evident through his participation in programs such as Dare to Lead Trainer Certification, SAP Certified Associate in Design Thinking, NAIS Aspiring Heads Fellowship, NAIS New Heads Institute, Vanderbilt University's Peabody Fellow in the Institute for Independent School Leadership, and more. His career showcases a dedication to innovative leadership and authentic learning, making him a valuable asset to any educational institution.
