I had the incredible opportunity to attend the LIV Golf event in Jeddah, and what an unforgettable experience it was! From witnessing breathtaking golfing moments to being surrounded by a stunning venue, the event offered more than just a sporting spectacle. It provided me with the chance to connect with some of the nicest people, explore new adventures, and create lasting memories.
The LIV Golf event showcased some of the finest talent in the world of golf, captivating spectators with awe-inspiring shots, remarkable displays of skill, and intense competition. The pristine course and meticulously designed challenge holes provided the perfect stage for players to showcase their abilities.
The Royal Green Country Club, a jewel of Jeddah, is renowned for its world-class facilities and picturesque landscapes. As I stepped foot onto its meticulously manicured fairways, I was captivated by the lush greenery, serene lakes, and panoramic views that enveloped the course. Enjoyed an amazing meal from Chef Jason Atherton. His flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social gained a Michelin Star. He was the Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay's Michelin starred Maze in London and has co-hosted the TV series My Kitchen Rules.
Every aspect of the club exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an ambiance that elevated the entire golfing experience.
One of the highlights of my time at the LIV Golf event was the beautiful challenge hole on the 16th. I managed to qualify for a car raffle with a great (lucky) shot on this captivating hole.
Beyond the golfing spectacle, what truly made the experience remarkable was the warmth and kindness of the people I met. The event served as a platform for forging new friendships. One such encounter led to an invitation to the home of some newfound friends, where I was treated to an extraordinary dinner and a night filled with laughter and games. The hospitality and sense of community among expats are truly remarkable. The willingness to embrace newcomers, share experiences, and offer assistance creates a warm and welcoming environment that helps ease the transition and fosters lasting connections. The genuine hospitality and generosity I experienced reaffirmed the power of human connections and the beauty of embracing new experiences.
