Tell The Story


From February 2022 ASES Torch publication


As I reviewed the pages of this edition of the All Saints TORCH, I was so proud of the incredible examples of our community living our mission to Ignite Passions to Impact Our World. The pages that follow tell an incredible story of the engaging transformative learning that our students, teachers, and parents experience everyday. We are dedicated to preparing and positioning this generation of students to be creative leaders ready to face the challenges of the future and provide promise for the world.


In this issue, you will hear of authentic learning, student agency, entrepreneurship, service learning, innovation, and more. All of these stories are the expressions of the meaningful results of what happens when students, teachers, parents, and friends are engaged with purpose and promise.


From Early Learning students joyfully learning to be makers and doers in our OASIS…to Lower School students nurturing and nourishing chickens on the Learning Farm for their egg business…to Middle School students using their entrepreneurial mindset and heart for service to others…to upper school students running their own businesses with E-Café, School Store and Copper Roof Media…All Saints students are engaged with deep dives in authentic learning and experiencing discoveries and epiphanies that are life changing.


Whether you are reading this TORCH magazine through the eyes of a student, parent, graduate, faculty member, grandparent, or friend, we invite you to embrace the story and celebrate! Each of you, whatever your role and however long you have been here, is also helping to tell the All Saints story. You do this through your words and actions, through your unique backgrounds and perspectives, and through your connections to people within and beyond our community. Like the stories in this magazine, your stories help to shape, define, and inspire the All Saints community.
